Amy was introduced to Nia in the spring of ’08, and has been hooked ever since. “For me, Nia is pure joy. And love. And fun! It has changed my body, mind and spirit, and has helped take me to a place of self love and acceptance. For me, exercise used to be very erratic, sporadic and compulsive; I was either running and jumping as fast as I could, or I was sitting on the couch doing nothing. I never knew there was something else, something infinitely more fulfilling, (and certainly more sustainable), until I found Nia. The joy and the freedom keep me comin’ back for more!” Amy absolutely loves being on the Nia path, both as a student and as a teacher. She teaches adult and kid classes at Yoga and Nia for Life in West Concord, MA, and truly aspires to share the same joy, enthusiasm and generosity of spirit that her Nia teachers have so freely given to her.
