When I first discovered Nia, I found a way to combat my depression. Within 3 years of starting Nia, I was--and continue to be--off meds. I then became certified to teach in January 1998 and have been teaching since that date. I completed my Black Belt training in 2004. I find that Nia also feeds and supports my acting profession and continues to keep me grounded and healthy.
