Dear Nia Community,
It is with deep sadness in my heart that I share the news that a dear mentor, Don Campbell, has passed away. As one of the leaders in health and wellness who taught us all the power of music as healing sound, Don and his work, along with his joy and natural ability to touch people, will live on forever.
I feel lucky to have met him, trained with him, and watched a room ignite into a blaze of inspiration and laughter from his wisdom. The following interview features Allison Rivers Samson, who is a Brown Belt certified Nia teacher and the creator of Allison's Gourmet.
What is your background?
I live with my husband, David, who recently earned his Nia Blue Belt, and our vibrant, nearly 6-year-old daughter, Olivia, in northern California, where I dance, garden and play in the kitchen while concocting new, delectable goodies.
