Approximately 3 minutes into her very first Nia class in 2003, Courtney received a warm vibration telling her that she would one day teach Nia. As a result, she began teaching in October of 2004 and is now a Black Belt. That "Voice of Nia" is one she always listens to and which takes her to her greatest Joys, her strongest Health, and most authentic Journeys. In addition to teaching Nia, Courtney is an English teacher, a Mother, a Meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner; however the juice of Nia is what feeds her creativity and passion.
