Before finding Nia, I was a working Opera Singer and worked with various opera companies in South Africa and the UK.

As a child I loved dancing and played in my school netball team all the way through school. As I became more focussed on my singing career, I lost the strong connection that I had had with my body.  The moment of my first Nia class at the Nia studio in Cape Town was a powerful "coming home" and reconnecting to my body.

Seven years ago I brough the Nia technique to London and began to build the London Nia community. Now seven years on, as the UK's first resident White Belt trainer, I am offering my own White Belt trainings in London and continuing to build the UK Nia community with the support of many of the local teachers.
