Nia came along at a key time in my life. I had started to gain weight after a significant weight loss and was also experiencing a devastating break-up. Thanks to Nia, I discovered my inner dancer and uncovered body confidence. 18 months after my first class, I became a teacher to follow in my mentor Beverley Drumm's footsteps and bring that energy, joy, and support to others. 

I received my White Belt in October '06, my Blue Belt in May '09, and my Green Belt in June '11.
