One of the things I love most about Nia is the use of imagination and play for conditioning the body. Practicing Nia has reawakened the joy and energy I once felt as a child and has taught me to embrace the miracle of living in this incredible gift of the body. Nia has enriched all aspects of my life.

I live in the Portland area. In June of 2008, I received my Nia White Belt training in order to deepen my Nia practice.  My desire to share Nia with other people grew out of my experience with these White belt priciples. In December of 2009, I received the optional Green belt in order to reinforce the teaching aspect of Nia, and soon followed  with the Blue belt in May 2010 and the the Brown belt training in October of 2012.  I love this deep and beautiful practice with all of my heart, and I am thrilled and honored to help others make this fantastic discovery.
