There are so many aspects of Nia that I love, but my favorite is that all parts of me get to come out and play with Nia.  The parts that are fiery and those that are flowy, quiet and loud, hard and soft.  I bring to my classes twelve years experience in Network Care, a wellness modality that integrates body, emotion, mind, and spirit for an authentic expression of a person’s whole being.  Finding a similar approach in the realm of fitness with Nia was like finding the piece of the puzzle that completed the picture.  I fell in love with Nia at my first class.  The way the instructor invited me to make the movements my own, make them feel good.  The way she said I could not do it wrong.  It was all so inviting and encouraging.  I found a new way of being in my body, of being in the world.  Now I recognize it as the Nia principle of Dancing through Life.  I invite you to join me for a class and discover it for yourself.
