After being a gymnast for 15 years, and a lifetime “living room” dancer, I fell in love with dance and musical theater in college. But it wasn’t until I stepped into my first Nia class that I truly found my home. The way Nia incorporates the mind, body, and spirit allows me to not only be in my body and improve physically, but it also provides a creative outlet, an opportunity to leave ‘life’ at the door and the chance to get fit, stay fit, and heal. When I first discovered Nia, the way I felt when I moved kept me motivated to attend class, and inspired me to train to become a Nia teacher. I feel incredibly lucky to have this amazing opportunity to share Nia. I hope you will come and share it with me!
