Jill Riley-Hetterscheidt

Columbus, OH, United States

My pathway towards whole-body wellness began with my first pregnancy. I had always taken decent care of myself and exercised regularly, but now I was responsible for a little one! I made adjustments. As my children grew, I continued to discover the importance of nutrition in all aspects of life (physical, mental, behavioral and spiritual). We became members of the Feingold Program (www.Feingold.org), which had a tremendous, positive impact on our lives. At the same time, I was able to promote the health of others through Wellness Programs as a Human Resources Professional. As my passion for wellness grew, and my human resources job was ending, I began researching ways to enter the Wellness field. I came across class listings for Nia and was instantly drawn to it. After a little more research, I attended my first Nia class (with my whole family), and a couple of Nia Jams; then I enrolled in the Intensive White Belt course to become a licensed Nia teacher. Through the course, I learned so much more about my body and its movements. I also gained an understanding and appreciation of the depth of the Nia program. I am so excited to be part of the Nia family and want to share it with everyone! It's Sensational!
