Let your dance out!! I love to dance! I love doing and teaching Nia! I love spending time with others that share these passions and the desire to explore the magic of movement in their bodies. Nia has given me a language for the dance that I’ve always felt in my body. It has become a lamppost and trusted friend on my journey to me. I discovered Nia just about the time I learned that my long-time fatigue and mystery pains were due to Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome (CFIDS). In those early days it was sometimes hard to breath, let alone move. Nia has since become an important part of a multi-layered practice of wellness – body, mind and spirit. Thankfully these days my health challenges don’t define me. Instead, they inform a greater awareness that guides me to listen and daily honor my body’s way. Come dance with me! If I’ve learned anything, it’s that every body has a story. My heart in teaching is to share the magic of honoring the body, no matter where your journey finds you.
