The first time i came across  Nia, was at a pamper night at  a villiage hall in 2007 I watched a demo, and thought Nia, looked a brilliant way to improve my health, but it was not the right time to start a class so it was earmarked for sometime in the future

Then I was invited  to support Earth Hour by coming along to dance Nia to raise funds fo the WWF.The Routine was Alpha Omega, We danced by candle light  it was a truely beautiful experience I was hooked and activley sort out to get in to a class, one class a week grew to four then came demos. I was inspired to teach and took my White Belt Teacher training at The Studio Tattenhall, with Helen Terry, in 2009 and began teaching NIA, the folowing January  returning a few months later to Cellebrate Earth hour  2010 and took part teaching a track from Earthsong. I have loved every minute of my Nia jouney so far and am now Teaching, 2 classes a week in Halkyn village, Classic NIA ,and Adapted NIA, also an Adapted NIa class in Chester aimed at people with more restricted mobility such as Multiple Sclerosis, ME, and Parkinsons sufferers.
