I discovered Nia purely by accident in 2008 and fell in love with the first class.  I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, "Wow, I didn't know I could move my body like that!"  I got my White Belt in September 2009 and it's been a joyful, wonderous journey of physical fitness and spiritual growth ever since.

As someone who works in an office all day, I love the creativity, focus, energy and balance that come with practicing Nia.  I've learned that Nia is much more than a workout routine; it's an attitude and a lifestyle.  I'm incredibly passionate about sharing this practice with the Brooklyn and greater NYC community.
