Before finding Nia in 2002, I was convinced that fitness and exercise had no place in my life. Traditional exercise programs always felt repetitive and uninspiring. After a friend insisted I attend a Nia class, I was hooked. Nia re-ignited my early passion for dancing: I studied classical ballet as a child before giving it up to focus on academics. Through Nia, I have  re-awakened to a joyful relationship with dance and my body.
