Nia feeds my sense of magic and mystery of living in a human body. The regular practice of Nia brings vitality, creativity and inspiration to all areas of my life. The sensory awareness Nia has developed in me helps me be a better mom and be more attuned to my own health.
I started dancing Nia in 2007 and completed my White Belt training in the summer of 2011 before moving from New Mexico, where I danced in a vibrant Nia community, to Philadelphia, where I hope to build one.
