Joanie Brooks..................... On August 12, 1994 I stepped into the Nia White Belt intensive and my journey with Nia began. As many of you know, I went empty to the intensive, not knowing anything about Nia. I took the jump, my leap of faith. 17 years later I am stepping into the world as a Nia Next Generation Trainer and celebrating by officially naming my home studio that I have had for the last 5 years. Blue Storm Studio!! In the realm of the 13 Moon Natural Time calendar, each of us has a Galactic signature that is an aspect of our divine design, offering insight into our Cosmic identity and role our role on Earth at this time. I was introduced to my Galactic Signature of Blue Galactic Storm during my Nia White Belt, and in honor of my journey I have decided on using part of my signature (the “Solar Tribe”) as the name for my studio. Blue Storm represents transformation and is an ambassador of self-generation that inspires us to create the transformation we seek. Blue Storm Studio is my dream when I bought my house to offer a safe place for students and Nia teachers, individually or in small groups, to go deeper into the Nia principles and practice, both for professional and personal development To transform, to discover, to awaken to potential.
