My name is Marion Pellekaan and since I was very young I have been dancing.
Twelve years I did (classical) ballet. After those twelve years I decided I wanted something different. Five years I tried a few new things, until I discovered Nia!

In november 2009 I took my first Nia-class and in December that year I flew to London to do my white-belt.
When I came back I new it: to do nothing with my white belt was impossible, I had to teach!
So I decided to quit my study humanistics and to set up Nia in Utrecht.

Since March 10, 2010 I have been teaching Nia.

In July 2010 I did my green belt with Carlos Ayas Rosas, his last green belt.
It was a wonderful experience and completed in my opinion my white belt in so many ways.
