About Me

A youthful 57-year old, Denise has been featured on television, in publications such as "American Fitness", and at such internationally acclaimed facilities as Canyon Ranch Health & Fitness Resort (Tucson, AZ), The Oaks Spa (Ojai, CA), Rosey's Little Village (Agistri, Greece), aboard Princess and Carnival Cruise Lines & at The Pebble Beach Resorts (Pebble Beach, CA). While she has taught all ages & all abilities, from children to athletes, from dancers & non-dancers to golfers...she specializes in movement for those who believe their movement is restricted – & helps them find they can not only move again with joy, but heal their bodies & improve their quality of life! She works with those over 65 years old, those with chronic illness, & those recovering from physical injury & joint replacement. Denise was a senior officer & board member of one of the largest communications companies in the world in New York City for 14 years, and served as a Marketing & PR consultant in California and North Carolina for another 15 years. She specializes in helping Nia teachers successfully market and promote their Nia business and in working with seniors. She also has more than 30 years singing & acting experience & brings high energy, creativity, fun & excellent stress management skills to her workshops & trainings!
