Erin has been teaching Nia classes and offering playshops throughout El Dorado County since 2007, serving the Senior Health Education Program and building all-ability community classes. Nia can be a rewarding experience for all ages, re-conditioning neurological pathways for balance and awareness, re-conditioning muscle tissue and joints for increased mobility, flexibility and strength while releasing old patterns with joy.
Erin's style is very energetic and free-spirited. Students are encouraged to step into movement by first learning the technique at a level of ability that supports healthy movement choices guided by sensation of joy and power to energize each experience.
Erin continues to evolve through her personal practice and her desire to share Nia by offering playshops and producing events for an in depth experience with the Nia Technique and its principles. Each movement choice is based on the freedom to choose "Joy of Movement," thereby to promote a more intimate relationship to self with deeper awareness. Nia supports every opportunity to self-heal and to live in full expression of Joy in Body-Mind-Emotions-Spirit.
