What is Nia Technique?
Nia is getting fit with movement. It is a dynamic cardiovascular workout that draws from martial arts, modern and jazz dance arts, and yoga. Class members move through a choreographed series of specific movements that leave participants feeling recharged, rejuvenated and fully alive. Designed for bare feet, Nia Technique movements follow the function of the body to deliver a safe, energizing workout without jumping or jogging. Nia is suitable and adaptable for all levels, from the person who wants to start moving again to the avid fitness buff. No previous experience necessary. All fitness levels welcomed.The Nia class experience:
