Notes About This Event
'Reclaim your Body' What a beautiful description of the benefits of doing the Nia 5 Stages. I LOVE this gentle, body-honouring practice which has totally changed my body, bringing improved alignment, greater awareness and increased flexibility, agility, mobility, stability and strength. For everyone looking to really dive into embodying the wisdom of The Body’s Way, the 5 Stages is your answer. It’s like body whispering.
On FEB 23 I'm facilitating a 3 hour PLAY-shop (no working here) to guide YOU through the 5 stages and share this gentle yet profoundly healing practice. Space is limited so please let me know if you would like to attend. Contact me at 0437 39 2424 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Meggie Danielson for enquiries and bookings! Nia 5 Stages is a physical practice based on five stages of human development: Embryonic, Creeping, Crawling, Standing and Walking. Consciously moving through these stages as an adult re-integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual elements in such a way that after just five minutes of practice, participants notice improvements in power, range of motion, and ease in areas of their bodies other forms of exercise do not affect. This process of realignment allows the body to do what it is designed to do: explore its potential, self-heal and grow.
“People can access the same feeling of revitalisation, vigour and health that they can get at a yoga class, but instead of focusing on poses and techniques, we trust the body’s own organic design and allow the organic movement that every human is designed for to guide the body to optimal health and alignment using pleasure as the guide, rather than pain.” Ann Boon says.
“There is no forcing in the 5 stages. Its power comes in letting go, trusting and surrendering to the body’s own wisdom. Transformation comes with the small changes that we make. My own body is testament to this practice. Instead of deterioration, I am experiencing renewal as I get older. My body feels better than it did when I was a teenager” Ann says.
