September AOT: How To Create Your Own Nia Workshop
Nia Teachers: Have you ever wanted to create your own Nia workshop, but been unsure where to start? Are you looking for ways to boost your livelihood while sharing what you love?!
If you answered 'yes' to either of these questions, then this brand new, stellar Art of Teaching Workshop is for you!
Vickie and I are passionate about supporting Nia teachers by providing them with the tools to help enhance, enliven and energize their Nia teaching. In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals for creating a variety of workshop formats including Nia Playshops, Routine Immersions, and 'specialty application' Nia workshops. We'll help you zero-in on your Top 5 unique-to-you workshop foci, while providing you with a format that can be adapted over time.
Additionally, we'll explore how to:
-Choose a workshop focus + intent
-Integrate somatic exercises
-Integrate the Science - Craft - Art of your topic
-Anticipate the ideal timespan of your workshop
-Build a workshop outline that is adaptable
-Create a workshop series
-Use a variety of presentation methods (music, movement, powerpoint, whiteboard, etc)
-Identify your 'market'
