The Body's Way, Part 2 – Moving into Creeping

5 Stages of Self Healing Progression

The 5 Stages of Self-Healing: Creeping

The Second Stage of Self-Healing

In the last issue we introduced you to The Body's Way education and the Five Stages of Self-Healing - Embryonic, Creeping, Crawling, Standing, and Walking. We took you through the Embryonic stage - the beginning, the stage where you are nurtured and fed. The stage where you let the beginner's mind be your guide.

We now take you into the Creeping stage and through the second Principle of The Body's Way, The Body Demands Balance. This principle provides the groundwork of the Creeping stage and is a focus for your development.

Also, we introduce you to the first two Voices of the Body associated with Creeping stage: Connective Tissue and Muscles. The Voices describe the functioning of the body in a poetic, scientific way for guided meditation and the body's education and awareness.

Fully embrace the elements from the beginning, the Embryonic stage (see last issue), and move from that foundation into the Creeping stage. Use this time to become conscious of your body and the world around you, and use this knowledge to develop new skills. Use the principle of The Body Demands Balance in the Creeping stage to create balance in every part of your life.

Review the structure that makes up the Voices of the Body to become clear on the messages they hold for you. The aspects - Cognitive, Symbology, and Sensory - help you develop an intimate and interactive relationship with your body and bring to life the wisdom and healing power of The Body's Way in your day-to-day world.
