Healing Through Self Awareness

"Every single day, without exception, make at least one attempt to open yourself to seeing life as it really is - a work of art. When you do this, you will begin to Dance Through Life as if it were the only possible way of living."

Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas

Self-Awareness

In Nia, Self-Healing is defined as the little repair work you do along the way in your day. You can cause Self-Healing throughout the day, every day.

Because the body is a life form that feels and senses, it responds immediately to the information it receives – the information you give it through your language, thoughts and awareness.

Each morning, when you wake up, settle into an awareness of your body. What does your body feel like today? Direct your awareness exclusively toward the physical sensations. Notice areas that ache, hurt, or are tense – namely, notice that which needs your attention and your healing.

Acknowledge the fact that simply by being aware you have begun the healing process. Because the body is a life form that feels and senses, it responds immediately to the information it receives – the information you give it through your language, thoughts and awareness.
