Tip of the Month
Your nervous system is designed to help your whole body and all of the organs work together in harmony—The Body’s Way. In other words, you are wired to be calm, peaceful, and in harmony. Soften your center and the whole body begins to relax and settle into the space of harmony, which will improve your way of moving and way of being in life.
Use Soft Center to integrate breathing and body action. “Smell the moment” and feel your soft center expand, letting air in. With the tip of your tongue placed behind your top teeth, exhale, allowing your soft center to assisted by the action of your intercostal muscles (muscles between your ribs and diaphragm).
When your body’s center, the core, is soft and relaxed, your movement is fluid and powerful. Act as if you have all the time in the world to help keep your core soft, like a baby’s belly. Let go and release your lower jaw to maintain a soft belly, even in the midst of an argument.
