Triad: the architecture of Crawling
In the last issue, we introduced you to Crawling, the third of the Five Stages of Self-Healing (Embryonic, Creeping, Crawling, Standing, Walking). We took you through building the architecture of Crawling, where you begin to gain mobility and stability moving on your hands and knees, and you begin to look out into the world. In Crawling, you are stable and at the same time able to move in any direction.
In Crawling, your front, back, left, and right sides are all exposed to the space around you, and you gain mobility. Crawling prepares you to physically and energetically shift from a horizontal life and perspective to a vertical one. In this stage you have more choices and more freedom to change direction. Now, we guide you into moving your energy through the architecture of Crawling.
The Third Stage of Self-Healing, Crawling, prepares the body to move more freely in space. This stage is all about developing mobility.
Begin on your hands and knees. Your pelvis, chest and head are now off the floor and are supported by your hands and knees – your pillars. The cerebral spinal fluid is still moving horizontally, and both the lumbar and cervical areas of the spine are developing their curves as you hang your belly toward the floor.
Move forward, back, to the left, and to the right. This freedom and the need to support the body away from the floor add to body conditioning and the strength of your bones, joints, and muscles. With more space under the core–the distance between your belly and the Earth – you strengthen your physical body’s relationship to the electromagnetic energy fields that surround you.
Look out and see the world. With your energy centers, the chakras, now further away from the floor, the nervous system begins to interact with your inside world and the outside world in a more sophisticated and personal way.
Soften your wrists, elbows, and shoulder blades as you move. Drag the knee or lift it slightly (like a baby) as you move. Crawl through the space and sense your energy shifting from one directly connected to the Earth to one of mobility and stability grounded in your own pillars – your hands and knees.
