Volume 3, Issue 1
Watch and learn as Nia Founders Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas discuss Mobility.
Your Shoulder Girdle is made up of two collarbones or clavicles, two shoulder blades or scapula and two shoulder joints. Run your hand horizontally from left to right, starting close to and resting near your shoulder joint and you'll feel your clavicles, elegant "S" shaped bones. Squeeze your elbows behind you and you'll sense your two triangle shaped, thin shoulder blades that rest over your ribs on your back. Like wings, these bones are meant to slide freely up and down.
Listen as Nia Co-Creator Debbie Rosas speaks the poetic Voice of The Body. This month: The Voice of The Shoulder Girdle.
