I started out as a meditation teacher.  Sitting meditation is a wonderful practice and I love it, but something told me to add movement to my own practice and to my teaching practice.  I taught yoga as a moving meditation, and a practice in awareness of the body and the 5+ senses.  One day while reading an article about Nia, I knew it was for me.  I took one class before I took my White Belt Intensive Training.  Nia is everything that my body, my mind and my spirit  was asking me for and so much more.  It is a great physical practice, it calms my mind, and it makes my spirit soar. I use the 13 principles in my daily living, and besides all that I have found a wonderful community.
