I fell in love w/ Nia during my first class in 2008. Following my discovery of Nia I've has been on an amazing journey that has transformed my body, mind and spirit.  Nia has awakened a spirit lost deep within me! For me Nia is a truly a somatic lifestyle practice disguised as a physical fitness program. Think "working out" while simultaneously "working in".  Nia has taught me to be aware of my body, to move in the way that the human body is designed to move in, and to sense what it truly feels like to be alive. It's guided movement, it's gentle yet highly energizing, empowering movement. It's dance meets martial arts meets healing arts... and the best part is that my students don't need to know ANYTHING about dance or martial arts or healing arts in order to receive the full benefits of Nia.  They simply show up w/ an open heart and an open mind and move...

I currently teach Nia in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado and my  highest aspiration is to guide my students to self-discovery through movement, smiles, and lots of laughter.
