Joy! This is what I felt in my very first Nia class. In my heart, I am a dancer. I love to move to music and feel the sensations of connecting with muscles, joints, and bones. I knew Nia was going to keep me healthy, strong, and fit, and help me feel centered and whole.
Nia classes invigorate my spirit and condition my body, all while helping me find more inner peace and happiness. It is a real stress release. Having a dance background, the movement variety and creative choreography was a perfect fit! Nia is about moving and groovin' to dynamic music, and allowing for expression and creativity. I finally found a workout that I love to do, and I'm getting stronger, more agile, improving flexibility and mobility.
I love that teaching Nia allows me to combine my passion for dance and wellness, and the joy of bringing people together to just have fun! Join me on this path to connecting with our bodies, improving our health, and allowing our spirits to dance.
