I have practiced Nia since 1996 and am a Black Belt.  Trained in Boulder Colorado and now practicing in Santa Monica, I combine humor, energy and my optimistic nature to make each class unique. I am the mother of four children, a 22-yr Transitions Advisor, and the creator of www.igolu.com. I am currently the Director of Possibility for lululemon athletica inc. www.lululemon.com.

Currently I teach at the most BEST studio on the Westside of LA www.capoeirabesouro.com.  The studio is owned by Mestre Batata and his wife Michelle.  They are Capoeira masters and contribute free classes to over 400 kids in LA every week.

I am the founder of Nia Santa Monica, the singularly most successful donation only Nia Studio.
