Guiding Students Into Embodying Crawling

While practicing the Five Stages of Self-Healing as a complete practice is powerful, isolating one stage at a time can be an excellent tool for embodying the sensation of Dynamic Ease.

We’ve continually said that lucky are the children whose parents let them move through these Five Stages on their own. They are allowed to embody the sensation of Dynamic Ease. They move when they are ready and they rest when they need to. Moving without effort is key to Nia, and Crawling is one of the most powerful postures and movements for reconnecting to the organic sensation of Dynamic Ease.

As part of your FloorPlay cycle, integrate the Architecture of Crawling. Slip into this posture and receive the sensation of Dynamic Ease. Use RAW to help you go deeper into Crawling, and when ready to move, ask yourself: How much effort to I need to move into my life with grace and power? Let your breath be the guide and feed your body with the sensation of Dynamic Ease as you embody Crawling.

Self-initiate ease and relaxation, using each exhale to more deeply embody peace. Empower your students to consciously personally train themselves to diminish effort and create dynamic ease. Crawl, and from time to time, stop moving and rest in Crawling. Use stillness as the time to sense your body, and observe what you need to tweak in order to move and rest in Dynamic Ease.
