Power in Community
My October business travels to cities in Europe and the United States served to strengthen me, and my relationship with Nia, and provide me with a new sense of security in myself and in the business. My relationship with teachers, the HQ staff, my business partner Carlos, and of course my business partner and beautiful wife, Debbie, have all shifted into new levels of connection and partnership. Security is a powerful ally, and through what I’ve gained in my travels, I feel how these relationships give me a deep purpose and a path to travel.
From the insights gained in my business travels, I can feel even more how we the Nia Executive Team are all working in alignment: we’re working as individuals with our own strengths and talents, and at the same time in community, where our combined power has an even bigger impact. I have always preached to each and every Nia teacher whom I have had the opportunity to speak with: “Make your own path, and do it with your community support.” My experiences over the last several weeks of travel have strengthened that philosophy for me, and I am more inspired than ever to be part of our unfolding Nia future.
