Teresa discovered Nia in 2005 through a suggestion from her Naturopath after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She wanted to move in a way that was freeing for her soul and made her body feel better. Through the illness, she found the magical movement of Nia.
Teresa personally experiences Nia as a lifetime practice that is truly transforming. She loves bringing the music, movement and magic to people of all ages and lifestyles, especially people with limited mobility. Seeing students transform is her best form of payment!
Her goal is to continue to spread the education and Nia Joy with as many people as possible through classes, workshops and retreats.
