Nia in Cincinnati / Holistic Fitness in Cincinnati
I love Nia, it keeps my interest, it keeps me motivated and best of all - it is kind to my body!!! With Nia, there are new ways to move, intelligent ways to work and tone the muscles. In my class, not only will you burn calories, improve the functionality of your body and become flexible -> You will have fun! For you to find joy in your life is a God-given life mission for me. I love it when my participants leave with a huge smile on their face. When they find joy in class, they'll take that joy home with them then share that joy with family and friends. Joy can be contagious!
Now the bonus for taking my Nia class is - I like to add Pilates, yoga and Bones for Life to my floorplay class for safe-effective core training, and using proper holistic movements to build bone tissue with natural movement.
Testimonial:
Thank you so much for all your hard work and investigating and learning so much so you can pass that knowledge along to me and others. Your work is priceless and has helped me create a new joy. I never realized how much just dance, simply dance can be the healer of the soul. I know I will be dancing and singing in heaven. That puts a smile on my face for sure.
Thank you so much!!

Current focus: Yoga trainer inspired me, yoga/Pilates is focusing on transverse abdominals, obliques, latissimus dorsi. These processes will create core and pelvis stabilization and support of lower back. I know a few bones for life exercises to accompany this. Then after that R1 really compliments the yoga/Pilates class. And as one of my students says, R1 really breathes the joy into life!
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS:

Bones for Life - Bones for Life is a holistic movement practice that initiates correct movement or an even more efficient way to move in the body. It is a program for stimulating bone strength through natural movement and weight bearing posture. I, personally, feel that Bones for Life has helped me feel more comfortable and takes away the fear of, "Am I going to hurt any particular joint in my body." Plus, I enjoy the teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais and Ruthy Alon (creator of Bones For Life) has incorporated The Feldenkrais Method into this wonderful and beneficial technique.
