I found Nia in 1998.  I did my white belt 4 months after doing my first class.  I had been in the fitness business for many years by this time, and taught many formats of classes.  When I started teaching Nia, I never turned back!  I always say Nia changed my life, saved my life and gave me my life.  I love the work and have long considered her my life's work.  I love watching a person really dig it and get into her first class.  I love when someone comes up and cries and tells me she's never been a body person and this gave her what she was looking for.  I love it when people come up and tell me they have always been into fitness or dance or some other kind of movement and finally has found what they were looking for.  I love teaching the form and the freedom.  I love teaching the integrity of the work to new teachers.  I love the practice she has brought into my life on a daily and lifelong basis...
