Joan is an enthusiastic Nia Instructor!  "When I took my first Nia class, I resonated with the movements immediately. I just knew that I would teach Nia in that very first class. Less than a year later, I trained for my White Belt. With previous experience in Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo, Nia embodies what I love about martial arts (kicks, punches, blocks, sounding) and blends it with music and dance (and I don't have to spar a 6 foot guy!) Nia is the MOST fun exercising I've ever done. After a class, I feel energized and relaxed at the same time." In 2006, Joan attended Blue Belt Training.
In addition to Nia, Joan is a Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Wellness Coach.
