Wendy spent the early years of her life studying modern dance, jazz, acrobatics and gymnastics. It was during this time that her passion for movement and music was developed. After training in various healing modalities, Wendy became interested in the healing opportunities that arise through movement. This lead her to the discovery of Nia where she was immediately attracted to the wide range of movement opportunity. Her desire to teach and share Nia lead her to the White Belt Teacher Training with Roberta Mohler in 2003. Her teaching experience has shown her that Nia provides a rich opportunity for personal growth and self discovery. Wendy has continued through all the belt levels of training and is currently a certified Nia Black Belt and Nia 5 Stages Instructor.Nia continues to give Wendy a creative outlet where she can teach and inspire others to dance through life in a joyful way.
